I still remember the first time I picked up a camera, a Canon PowerShot I got when I was 12, wandering the streets of Los Angeles, California, trying to capture the laughter of my friends and the fleeting sparkle of everyday life. In that moment, I realized photography wasn’t just about taking pictures, it was about freezing the little sparks of existence, preserving stories that might otherwise slip away.

 

Over the years, that spark grew into a passion and a purpose.
